Jane’s career has spanned over thirty years within the hotel and spa industry with the last fifteen years as Spa Manager, within the luxury country house hotel sector.
Her skills encompass all the essential elements required for the delivery of spa projects. She is able to work at both Board Level as well as motivating and inspiring the operating team.
Her specialisation lies in transforming the owner’s vision and concept, through construction, into reality; offering support and guidance pre-opening, opening and post-opening.
She is able to advise in areas such as:-
• Pre-opening assessments and customised market analysis to ensure a unique selling proposition and a strong basis from which your spa can grow and succeed.
• Working alongside architects and designers to ensure the optimum use of space, guest journey and staff operations flow and maximise revenue segments.
• Provision of specifications of all furniture, fittings and operational equipment along with supplier details and capital requirements.
• Product House analysis and comparisons for both treatment menu and retail areas.
• Treatment Menu compilations.
• Comprehensive operating procedures and systems including Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety Systems and Guest & Staff Journeys.
• A tailored recruitment, interview and training programme alongside effective assessment and development of teams.
Her skills range from that of the business mind of a London hotelier, the empathy and strategy of a yield manager trainer to the healing touch of a Reiki Master and complementary therapist.

I am available for a short term contract on a day rate, appropriate to the type of project and location in the UK where accommodation and travel would be need to be assisted, if outside of North Yorkshire.

Jane is available for individual and small group training sessions.  At present this includes LaStone therapies, Reiki to mastership level and baby massage.
